Computing and Engineering Technologies for Unmanned Systems (CETUS)
The CETUS division works directly with Department of Defense agencies including ONR, SPAWAR, and DARPA to develop software solutions such as autonomy infrastructure and algorithms and software. These software products are tested in-lab (using both simulation and hardware in-the-loop test beds) and in-water on government owned vehicles. CETUS also provides capabilities in custom electronics and mechanical development for unmanned vehicles, specializing in unmanned surface and unmanned underwater vehicles (USVs and UUVs).
CETUS personnel also provide simulation based operational analysis of Mine Countermeasures (MCM) for ONR, OPNAV N95 and N81, and PEO LCS. The CETUS simulation Mine Warfare Capabilities Evaluation Tool (MCET) has been used in over 20 US Navy studies over the last 5 years.
